My favourite part of Sovereign Hill camp

On the 25th of may 2009 the year fours went to Sovereign Hill.
My favourite part of camp was when we went into the gold mine tour. All of the boys were in front of the girls and Kathryn was behind. All of the girls were scared. The girls stayed close to Kathryn until they came out of the mine. That was my favourite part of the year four camp to sovereign hill.

My Camp!

On Monday 25th May we left to camp we went to Sovereign Hill.
It took ages to get to Ballarat I was going to fall asleep but I didn’t.
When we got there we made our beds, they were bunkbeds.
After we went into Sovereign Hill it was really muddy and smelly. Then we went into groups I was in Selma’s group so we went into the Mine Tour it was really dark.
I had a lot of fun at camp!

My favourite things on camp.

On camp I first did gold panning. I wanted to find gold but I didn’t find any. My favourite show was the gold smelting because you learn a lot of information. By Nathan F

At Camp

On Tuesday morning Kathryn jumped on Debbie then Debbie woke up. Selma and Dani stood there laughing. I liked doing routines in the morning. I made up a lot of moves. Our cabin won 2 times, I was really proud of my cabin. I hope there is another camp soon. Sharmoni

Footy at the Lakes

Today (12/5/09) the Grade 4s had a clinic with some Carlton football players. We got into little groups and did some races and drills. They taught us how to handball, kick and bounce the ball, some people didn’t know how to bounce the ball and so they just touched it on the ground. It was fantastic!! They also told us about their diet, being away from home, and their training and how they work as a team. They came back to our room and autographed some of our things like, diaries, t shirts, paper and footballs.
