Today after assembly we went to this place to learn about recycling. Kathryn’s home group and Dani’s home group were there, we saw Sally and Katie, they had bags. Katie told us what we could recycle and what we can’t recycle. Afterward we played a game, Katie chose three team captains Caitlin W, Vanessa and me. Caitlin’s team lost and Vanessa and my team won. Katie told us other things about recycling. She also gave us a poster. I had so much fun. This was fun I wish I could play it again and again. KristianToday our home group went on an incursion. The incursion was teaching us how to recycle rubbish. When we got there we sat down. Two ladies were waiting and their names were Katie and Sally. We sang a song. The song sounds like the 7,6,5,4,3,2,1 we can recycle everyone. We played a game called race to recycle. There were 3 teams with people in them. The captains were Ethan (yr 3), Angela and Ellie. In the end Ellie’s team won. We can recycle cans, hard plastic and other things. Nathan F
This morning after assembly Kathryn and Dani’s classes went to see an incursion about recycling. The presenter, Katie told us how to look for numbers on the plastic things. She also told us a rhyme 7,6,5,4,3,2,1 we can recycle every1. We played a game that required us to split into 3 teams. Our team leaders were Kristian, Vanessa and Caitlin W. The game we played was where each team had a bag and everyone would be in a line. You had to put an item in wither a garbage bin or recycling bin. I was in Vanessa’s team. In the end it was a tie between Vanessa and Kristian’s teams. Katie gave us a poster about recycling. Mikaila
